A back in the day pic...one rainy morning 3 years ago!

Its called Hurricane Rocket! I have made many claims on my blog, all with good intentions and then sometimes have not followed through for whatever the reasons, but the more i speak to people the more I realize close friends relatives acquaintances and fans to check up on me and my progress as I climb the ladder toward the top...thank you to all of you. You know who you are bc your reading this...I very much appreciate your love and support. I promise to get back to updating this and all my sites when mid-september rolls around. Between now and then I will be working the US Open and wont be on a computer for a while, but come mid-september its like going back to school...just call me Rodney Dangerfield...Not really going to back to school but I will be knocking down doors and hitting the streets of NYC on a serious mission! So I hope this entry finds you and your loved ones safe and sound from Irene and for those without power enjoy going back a few years and letting go of technology (easy for me to say I know)

Time to kick the tires and light the fires

And so it begins...a week of Ireland under the belt and what a week it has been. Great times had and shared with close friends and memories made. Couldn't have asked for more, the experience is what I was expecting and looking for thus far and is about to turn the page to the next chapter of the trip. I am just a few short hours away from landing in Brussels and once these feet hit the ground the story really begins!

I am short on sleep and long on energy of the experience, so for now...thank you to my friends for a great week...I love you all...to my family thank you for the love and support and I am alive and well and will contact you soon.

At long last and after years of wanting, and then weeks of planning I am departing for Europe today. I have not posted much in recent weeks, however, I have been on the hustle just the same. I have arranged several meetings that shall yield great opportunities for when I return. For those not in the know, I am off to backpack Europe a few weeks. I will be jumping on the net and updating some notes about the trip and the experience. WHo knows, maybe I will make my own documentary about it???

To all my friends and fans, thank you for all your kind words and support, I will be back at the end of July and celebrating a big birthday and would like to see everyone there to welcome me home and kick off this year which is going to be the biggest and best yet. Its almost Friday. It has been way way way too long since my last post, but it has again been for good reason. I have not been home very often. I have been tackling my regular acting class and its requirements and for the last two weeks picked up a second class being a reader for my teacher Deb Jackel's cold reading class which was a cool experience. It was nice to have the shoe on the other foot and see auditions from another perspective. Acting class is going well, been somewhat brutal at times, but such is the work. I have found myself submersed in my craft more and more each day and loving it more and more as well! Both of which are extremely rewarding. I am starting to get a few of my pet projects going and organizing others which is also rewarding on a whole other level. This weekend I am doing a fitness shoot at my new fitness facility with a very strong photographer which is sure to produce some amazing work and I am very much looking forward to it. So what have I been up to...a lot. There are a few other opportunities circling the funnel and when they drop I will be sure to pass along that info for my 8 readers. To you guys and girls I say thank you for your support, I will not forget you when then number hits 800!

Not me, sorry to anyone that does, but hey we are half way through this one so take a deep breath think about what your going to do when you get home and start looking forward to it, and before you know it...book your there. As for this past weekend, it was a great one. I had my best audition to date, and it was a great feeling of success. I have landed roles and done some strong work modeling, but this was my best accomplishment to date bar none for what it meant to me. I battled with keeping this information private and holding that energy in for myself, but then thought, if only one other actor follows this blog it would be worth sharing it if only to help that one person. Auditioning is regarded by some of the most accomplished right on down to the beginning actors as one of if not the hardest part of the profession. Its pretty simple to understand, think about it. Who likes going on interviews? Not most, because if your interviewing your almost always in a position where you NEED a job! Thats what auditioning is likened to. (likened is apparently my word of the day as I think that makes the 4th or 5th time I have used it in the past hour) Anyway, auditioning...picture this going on 3-if your lucky 7 auditions a day or 2-7 "interviews" a day! Sound like fun? Probably not, but as cliche as it may be, thinking of it as fun just might make the difference between a callback "2nd interview" and never hearing back at all. The opportunity to do what you love, in any forum or industry is what makes all the difference in the world. So, until your a household name, AUDITIONING is a part of your business...like it or hate it, that part is up to us!

Just a quick note, had a few fun things take place yesterday in regards to the career. First, had a great meeting with my writing partner and we have a few fun ideas to move forward on. Second, had a few auditions come in, and a few potential modeling jobs to hear about. Lastly, I finally saw THE FIGHTER!! Let me tell ya, wow...you want to talk about why I am an actor and what its all about...see that movie. It may not affect you the same way, but it definitely played on me. Oh, and in keeping with telling stories and letting a little personality shine though in my blog, how about this one...I was talking to a girlfriend of mine and we got into a heated debate over District 9. I wasn't fond of the movie, and she got mad because she thought I was saying it was a bad movie. She was going on and on about it and how I am judging it without giving it a fair shake (I didn't make it through the whole movie). The more we got into it the more intense it got, and then I came out and said, "your being a real bitch right now!" Um, yeah then it hit me...I was working the conversation like an exercise from class. Then it hit me even harder when she blew up and got extremely mad and turned beat red that I had been doing so for most of the convo...I couldn't help but laugh (internally-she really woulda flipped had I just laughed in her face when she was teeming! So thanks Esper and Mr. Mienser. I really have been eating sleeping and thinking/dreaming acting...I wonder if this happened when I didn't catch on! How do I feel...hahaha up tough call!

Well, another week comes to an end and another weekend upon us, do we work for the weekend? I know some do, but the weekend is just another day to get better. Another day to practice living right and to use to fulfill our enjoyment. Now, anyone that knows me knows I like my weekends as much if not more than some, but everyday should be lived with the same zeal as our Saturdays or if your a Sunday Funday guy or gal, Sundays. On that note, its been brought to my attention that I do not put enough substance it my blogs, that I should tell some more stories or jokes and put some more personality into them, and you know what its true. So after this post I plan to put a little more meat and potatoes into the blogs. Kinda funny considering what a character I am...so on that note I am off to acting class and then a fun friday...I wish you all the best and hope you have kick ass days!

Snow Snow Snow

Hello one and all, I hope this finds you all doing well and hopefully snowed in and able to enjoy it...those that had to figure out a way to make it into work or are figuring that out now, look at it this way, its Thursday...just today and tomorrow and its the weekend! Those that are home for the day...maybe your even lucky enough to be snowed with a significant other or lover because lets be serious, no matter how much you like your own company, there are few greater things than that!

As for the career, things are great. Acting class is getting better by the day, I did a concept shoot for my portfolio on Tuesday and I am looking forward to seeing the finished product, the two attached pictures are unedited test pics from that shoot. I am going to be spending the day updating my websites and being artistic drawing, writing and reading...and I am pretty excited about it. Oh I also got to see a play on Tuesday night with my acting class which was a fun experience. As for the play, my hat off to the actors in it, but the play itself was not my cup of tea and felt it had moments, but also had areas it could have been improved. However, good bar or other, its up and in production and the audience was laughing and crying so it must be doing something right! I am an easy critic when it comes to artistic expression, because it can be hard enough, no need to trample all over something someone out their heart and soul into~

Fitness Guru Jack LeLanne finished his amazing life

Fitness guru and American Icon, Jack LaLanne has passed away. When considering the maturation of the fitness industry it is impossible not to mention Jack LaLanne. Not only for what he has meant to the world of fitness as a business, but also Jack LaLanne the man and what he accomplished personally. He proved that the number of days and years a person lives is merely a number that tracks such things and by no means is a definition of that person. In an article about him in the Daily News today, he was quoted saying, "Exercise is King, nutrition is Queen, put them together you've got a kingdom." Jack LaLanne was a man ahead of his time, and in ways he was even ahead of the time we find ourselves in now. With all the information out there pertaining to health and fitness and exercise we still have only delved only a few feet into a pool of knowledge that spans to depths of which we have no way of knowing how deep it goes. I think, Jack LaLannes’ mantra in life was, whatever the mind can conceive it can achieve, and can serves as a road map to anyone interested in living a happy, healthy and fruitful life. Here is a man that maintained an amazing physique and health level well into his eighties this proving a point he made in that, "the only way you can hurt the body is to not use it." Thank you Jack for your dedication, guidance and passion for life and the example it awarded us. Jack LeLanne has passed away, but not before he LIVED 96 years.

What a week, its Thursday again...really? Its been a great few days preceded by others just as good. Work is picking back up with modeling and acting class is coming along really well with a big class tomorrow. I have been working like crazy to get XTREME TRAINING off the ground and am happy to report a lot of progress and its getting even better!

I know I know, I have been slacking on my posts. Here is a little 2010 recap:

One word to describe 2010: Eventful

In a year that included 2 moves, one from Beverly Hills to the beach in Venice, and then another the total opposite direction back to New York, its safe to say it was an eventful, but good year. There were numerous highs and the occasional lows, all of which provided lessons and insight. Now looking forward into the gray wintery skies of New York as 2011 is fully underway I am that much more equipped, that much more determined and that stronger. I currently stronger and feel better than I ever have in my life. This is not just pertaining to my career, or any one part of my life be it family, friends or work, but rather the culmination for all these aspects coming together in such a way to allow me to pursue my dreams and live my life in accordance to my beliefs. I have been blessed with an amazing family and friends that have become family and a very many good friends and acquaintances that will one day be friends. My fans are also great and I thank you for all your support.

In 2010 I worked on several projects, in both Los Angeles and New York. I worked on a vampire movie that taped in South Central. I was written into the pilot of a comedy TV because the casting directors liked my work when I auditioned for a different project for the production company...that was a cool experience. I even got a heads up that I would have been cast in that project had it not been a period piece. I also did a few industrials and music videos, several photo-shoots, and some day-player work on popular soap. I could not even guess at the number of auditions and meetings I went on which means I was on the right track. I was luck enough to have my hair cut by a very very talented hair stylist by the name of DeRico Jackson, and thanks to DeRico and his genius-work my career was elevated. It is nice to be able to answer the question, "so how is your career going?" with the answer: well! and it be 100% true.

I spent a lot of of 2010 bettering myself physically, mentally and emotionally. I also took classes to work on my craft and have put myself in a strong position with a stable sturdy platform to go forward and upward in 2011!

2011 will be the brightest of years yet for me. I usually say that about every year, and you know what, I have never been wrong. Even if any given year has not been the year that saw me become a household name or famous face, they have all contributed to and helped me prepare for NOW! Knowing how to live in the NOW while still maintaining goals and keeping an eye on the future. So what does that mean for 2011...

2011 you will see me land the agent(s) that will help take my career to the next level. I will appear on TV again, and I will land at least one strong role in a major motion picture. I will land at least one notable modeling job in addition to earning a good living on multiple modeling jobs. The goals are still being formulated, but there are a couple to clue you in on where I am and where I am going.

I am living back in NYC but plan on getting back to Los Angeles and will forever be bi-coastal once I do. So cheers to all of you taking the time to read this and keeping up with what I am doing. I have heard from a lot of you especially in the last few weeks, and I really and whole-heartedly thank you for your support. I wish everyone a great year, may it bring you happiness health and prosperity. Dont forget, you may not be able to control what happens, but you can control what you do, live TRUE TO YOURSELF! Be Gracious and Kind to others and let life reward you the same.

1 month like a blink

Well hello one and all, I can not believe its really been a month since posted a blog. I dont really know where to begin. Its been an eventful month to say the least. Working backward, recently one of my best friends got married and I had the honor of being in the wedding. It was the day after Thanksgiving so you can imagine what an event it was. I was lucky to see some old friends/teammates from college and we had a blast catching up and reminiscing about old times. The wedding was beautiful and the bride looked stunning.

As it was Thanksgiving my brother Nick was up with my Godson and his wife. Me and my two brothers had a blast doing what we do best, hanging, eating and drinking picking on each other and getting in as many laughs as possible. So I was on a STAY-CATION for the week and it was a great one.

As for career news, things have been moving along smoothly, auditions and a few callbacks. I did have a bit of unfortunate cancellations of two shoots, but such is the business, so I just shrug and keep it moving!

There are a few fun possibilities on the horizon and I am excited to finish 2010 strong and I know 2011 is going to be a great year!

Happy Thursday everyone, beleive that THURSDAY already...whose with me that this week really flew by?

Anyway, I have gotten a lot of my photos back from last Thursday's Meet-up Shoot at Simple Studios, and I have to say they came great. It was really alot of fun doing the shoot, and the work that was gernated by it and the timely fashion in which I recieved the materials from it really enhanced the experience making it one of the most pleasant all around of all the shoots I have done. What a week

So last week was definetly a productive one. I did a shoot on Wednesday night that was a lot of fun and very porductive. What was cool was even after countless shoots, it was a totally new experience. Almost every shoot is distinct, but this one was different in its makeup. It was a group of photographers that are part of a meetup group in which they gather pool resources and put together a shoot. This one was a studio shoot and conisisted of roughly 10-12 photogrpahers a few different sets lighting equipment and 3 other models in addition to myself. We did a variety of looks and pairings and it was a lot of fun and very prodcutive. In addition to the shoot, I also had the opportunity to work on a popular TV show and got to meet some really cool people and have a good time while working.

Lastly, I attended a 3 day seminar over the weekend that was truly one of the best workshops I have taken in the field of acting. It was aimed at helping actors get out of their own way and approach their work from a better place and I happy to say I got a lot out of the work and I am confident that it will be leading to my working more and more as the days go on so stay tuned for more new and exciting news as the days and weeks of November unfold. Its only a few days to Gobble Gobble day and this is one guy thats counting them down!

Hello one and all and welcome to another exciting week. I hope your all off to a good start and I am sure most of you are gearing up for one of my favorite holidays...Halloween. I have to tell you I was looking forward to going bananas this weekend as I have not had an all out Halloween celbration weekend in to long to count, but I am choosing to be responsible and attend a 3-day seminar instead. Granted its in NYC which means I will be highly tempted to go out and partake in the festivites, I am going to keep it calm and get the most out of the seminar that I am very excited to be taking part in...ACTING SUCCESS NOW with Michelle and Robert Colt!

IN other news, I have received a few shots from my latest shoot, and they came awsome! Cant wait to show all of you the full shot list.

Whats up everyone, I know its been a few since I last posted a blog and for that I apologize. Since my lsat post, I have done a portfolio shoot with a very talented photographer and I am hoping to get those images any day now, and if there are as good as I am thinking they will be, I am confident they will turn some heads. I attended a great workshop consisting of some top casting directors and professionals in the industry and it was very informative and inspirational and has helped me hone in on the direction I need to take with my career. I have been booked no two modeling jobs that will be working at the end of this month and early next month and hoping to hear back about a few others that I submitted for yesterday...all in things are good, the ball is picking up momentum and LIFE is good, I hope the same goes for all of you...thanks for the support as always! I was surrounded by models, actors and designers who already caught their breaks and fit right in, now its just time for my time to shine. hello one and all, it has been an eventful month. Work wise I filmed a feature film in Phili 2 weeks ago. Great time with a great cast. I had a supporting role and will be in several scenes. The movie is called Red Corvette and is finishing production in the next couple of weeks and then will be submitted to film festivals. I was contacted by a strong photographer interested in shooting me for what I am hoping will be a catalogue shoot in the next week or so, and I am expecting to hear back from some modeling agencies n the next few weeks after blasting a ton of them with email submissions. I am working an event for Tory Burch & fashion week in the meatpacking district next Friday and big party/concert for John Varvatos Saturday. I am happy to report that I have also got my pen working again and have finished several new scenes for a script I have been wanting to finish for a long time now and have several other scripts in the funnel outlined and ready to roll, all in all, i have to say its been an eventful summer, productive and healthy! Its been great being back in NYC and looking forward to the fall.

Its a big week for me as my birthday falls right in the middle of it. I have to admit I am excited for it. Everyday is meant to be spent like our birhtdays, but sometimes life just throws things at us too quickly to keep up...but when we get a few moments to breath we realize how good things really are...and if you dont do this...remember if you have air in your lungs, all the rest is small stuff!

Hello everyone I hope your doing well and summer is treating you like summer should. I am hard at work updating all of my online materials which is sometimes a struggle since I do not have my own office set up in one location yet in NYC but I am undeterred I am keeping my head down and moving forward. This week I will be printing up new photos and taking my portfolio by a few modeling agencies.

Short and sweet for the moment, I am back in the NYC and getting things moving here and by the end of this month I am happy to report I will be fully bi-coastal!!!

Ya baby. Nothing better than a holiday weekend! Its been a great week. I worked all week. Several auditions, one call back, a few auditions that I could not attend because I had conflicts with other auditions and an audition scheduled to land an under 5 on a soap next week. I have also been busy setting up meetings back in NYC for the latter part of JUNE while I am there. I have am focused with a mindset that is undeterred by anything...what that means???

Ok so I was on a role but the good news is I have been getting things in order. I started painting again and spent the better part of today doing so and then the last few hours sorting out all old pics and updating the portfolio only to realize I need to do a shoot to update my portfolio hahahaha. In the best shape of my life and best suited to do some real damage in the modeling game so one more TFP shoot is a small price to pay...so anyone out there that knows a good photographer that needs some shots for their book tell em to give your boy Johnny Sal a call.

Ok so its been a month since I sat down and caught everyone up...my apologies. Especially to Tack & Z my ture boys, hahahaha. Well its been an eventful month. IN the course of the last few weeks, I have been out on several auditions done some daytime work with All My Children and move to Venice. Thats a quick over view on the month. I am spending today getting all caught up on IT work and wth any bit of luck will be all finished in time to go train at the beach before going to Hollywood to train a few clients. Now that I am situated these will be more frequent. I am not going to go as far as daily but thats the goal. Wish me luck.

U hope you all had a good week, mine was eventful and productive. A lot going on this weekend with auditions fri and saturday the big VDAY Sunday and playing host to a friend on a business/pleasure trip with a shoot day in there too...good to be busy right? So what do you think of the new headshots? Tyler Golden is ever bit as good as they say he is. I highly recommend you looking into his work and booking him for whatever your needs may be. I will be shooting with him again in a few weeks. Those images are raw first takes no photoshop at all! Finally something really exciting to write about, today is my 1 year anniversary living in Los Angeles. As the rain falls providing a soothing melody to finish off the afternoon, I am happy to say its been a great year. I have so many great memories, and stories...fogett-a-boutit! I would like to thank my family, father John, my mother Theresa and her husband Rick and my two brothers Nicholas and Louis for all of their love and support. It is always nice to see your calls, txts and emails pop up. To my loving grandparents Dorothy, Louis and Grandma Betty a.k.a. Betty Boop, I say thank you for everything. You all have given me so much, and I am so very grateful.

To THE BOYS, my brothers from other mothers, Bots, Tack, Z, Timmy, Dip, Dan, Jaco and Buff the trip always starts and ends with you guys and always will. Micky Mac, who else knows how to get get down more than you kid? Another one of my brothers from another mother. May not always catch each other as much as we should, but we always make it count when we do. And to everyone else I keep in touch with whether frequently or not I appreciate our friendships as well, you all know who you are. A special thank you to my loving girlfriend Johanna, thank you for everything my love. We have so much fun and much more to have.

Now, on to business. I have been rockin~n~rollin of late, going on lots of auditions and have a few already slated in addition to some potential bookings. All in all, happy 1 year anniversary to me. Here we go...

Hey Hey hey, how's everyone doing? I know I said I was going to get to this everyday, but man I have been busy, but I am making a midweek resolution, everyday from now on. So went on those auditions, and I am happy to say they went well. I am taping a commercial on Sunday and waiting on a callback for another commercial thats scheduled to shoot next Thursday and that one is going to be a good time so keep the fingers crossed. I trekked through the rain today to attend 2 open calls to modeling agencies, one maybe and pass. Hey if I bat 500 I will be a successful man! (YES RAIN IN SOCAL all week I might add, but its cool, I like the rain especially since it will be another year since it happens again).

Hello all I know, the first week back to blogging and I missed a day already...the good news is it was because I was getting work done all day. Between looking for a bartending job (an actors life line) and doing some writing and a great nap yesterday was a good day. That being said I have been at it since I got out of bed this AM starting with some business calls & emails and scheduling auditions for Sat. as well as monday. Monday's audition is going to be a fun one as I am going to finally break into the stand-up comedy game, now all I have to do is write some jokes...um...ya anyone want to help with that??? We all know I can make people laugh and come up with some funny sh#$ on the fly but will other people think its funny? Problem is it wont be in front of a live audience because then I would just get them involved to save me...so lets hope I dont need saving!! Good morning everyone, and happy Monday. Those of you at work already, I hope you had a smooth commute. Those of you that are less than happy to be at work, your not alone. I kept my weekend pretty low-key and recharged the batteries after two and a half weeks traveling for the holidays. I took a nice drive up the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway for those that aren't familiar) and checked out Malibu Country Club and played ( holes testing out my new clubs before watching that crazy BCS Championship. The weekend was pretty chill, worked-out at a gym by the beach and then hung there to take in a nice sunset~some of you are probably like "who is this guy" and yes it was a little different than the weekends of pool parties and crazy nights out that you cant remember much of, but sometimes a little R & R can go a long way. At least that is what I am hoping because I am looking at a big week that includes a few auditions and getting back to work with All My Children now that they have moved here to LA. Officer Simoneli reporting for duty. I will keep you posted on what day the episodes will air. Maybe one of you can remind me to watch it because believe it or not I always miss when I am on TV hahahaha. I will be including videos to these posts just as soon as I figure out how to and then all you Westchester boys can get a good laugh and get the email chimes ring on the blackberries cracking jokes, but thats alright I am here to amuse you! Hello everyone its good to be back in commission. I had a brief break of postings after a strong start. I have been hard at work honing my craft and my body for the last several months getting ready for 2010! I am happy to report that I am ready to make this the year more people are familiar with my face and know my name. My posts will be personal thoughts, what's going on with me and my career and anything I find amusing or interesting. My actual website is still under construction. A very special thank you to Michael Baumann for hooking me up with all these great tools to create my site, now if I only knew how to use them. Quick piece of advice for anyone still in or about to go to college~if you dont know what you want to do, take computer classes!! They will pay dividends I promise. If your out of work and dont know what to do with yourselves...same advice! HTML and all the rest of it for us non-computer savy people is tough! Anyway, it will be all set up and looking even better than ever within a few weeks. In the meantime its up and running and functional.

Hello everyone, I am happy to report that I am aggressively working on my portfolio and I am very happy with the progress made this week especially. This picture is a taste of what's to come. I am currently shooting a calendar and portfolio shot with a very talented photographer by the name of Scott Byrne. We have collaborated to make some amazing shots and I look forward to your seeing our finished portfolio. I plan on having my website polished and ready for viewing a week on my birthday August 4th. It has been an eventful few weeks. I am happy to report that things are moving right along and falling into place nicely. I have officially lived in LA for 5 months. I am happy with what I have accomplished thus far. I am taking a quick trip back to NYC to see the family and friends and get some R & R, but I am coming back home to LA with vengeance!! You heard it hear first July is going to be an eventful month with a lot of the leg-work that has been done to this point coming to fruition. So as always stay tuned...

To anyone that has been checking this periodically waiting to see when my next post would come out or came across through the internet connect-the-dot game or through recent interest in seeing who I am and what's going on with me...thank you for stopping by, your interest and support. My website will built before your very eyes day by day for the next several days and weeks. Once up and fully functional this blog will be replaced with a different look, including features and eventually interaction.

I am currently putting all of the pieces together and lining up all the dominos in a set pattern ready for the final subtle nudge to set them all in motion yielding a picture like never seen before. In literal terms, my main focus is currently set on the completion of this site. The completion this site is going to require several photo shoots, and entails finishing several passion projects as well. Hello everyone and happy MONDAY!

The Exercise for Men Only Shoot with Serg Studios went great. We worked straight through the whole day and got a lot of great shots. The kettle bell workout routine was a good challenge from a modeling standpoint as it was difficult to get exactly right, but we got it! I am excited to see the spread which (fingers crossed) am I am hoping to be in the July issue. I will let me you know more as I do. Now its back to training for my next photo shoot that will be taking place in the next few weeks and I am also kicking around the idea of entering a model competition...what do you think? Preparation

Hello everyone it has been a long time since my last post. I have been busy here staying on top of the ball. My personal training service is up and running and doing well. I have recently been named the Talent Coordinator for The Gregory Mantrell Show which has already been a great experience. What I have been doing the most is training. I just finishing packing my bags for my trip down to San Diego to shoot with Serg Studios the cover photographer for Exercise for Men Only. We are shooting on Thursday and after a month of dieting and training hard I am happy to report that I am ready. I am very excited about the shoot and the opportunity and for the whole experience. We are doing some exciting stuff and it stands to be a great shoot. I am happy to say that I am fully settled in here in LA and am very happy. I am proud of the progress I have made so far and look forward to the days weeks and months ahead. One goal at a time until everyone is crossed off...then its time for a new sheet of paper!!!

Happy spring to you all and remember SUMMER IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER.

What's up everyone, I have been a busy guy over here in LA LA Land...my personal training service is starting to get busy, I got back on the submittal grid to get some work acting/modeling, and my company MEET NOW LIVE is up & running. It was a very good week, the most productive week thus far and its only going to get better!!! I am happy to report that I will be a guest on The Greg Mantrell show as a personal trainer/fitness model/actor. The show airs on Time Warner (check your local channel guide for specific dates & times) and is huge on YOUTUBE. As soon as I know the air date I will relay that info. All in all things are great. Today was a good day. For starters, I finally went to the beach. It was the first thing I wanted to do when I got here, at least that was the plan, but I finally did it. I also ran on the beach and killed 2 birds with one stone. What's even better is the reason I was in the neighborhood of the beach (Santa Monica-which is among my favorite towns/neighborhoods in "LA.)." I had a very exciting meeting about taking a notable step toward where I want to be. More detail to come as I get them, for now, just know that I am pumped motivated and focused! Its been great so far and its only just begun!]

Whats up everyone, I am officially done with all the bulk of the moving process -painting, moving furniture up four floors in the poring rain; yes rain in Cali...It rains 3 times a year here and decided to hammer it out in one 3-day monsoon. However, not even the storms could keep me from finishing up this move and transition into a new city and scene!

All in all, its going Tony The Tiger! Things are moving right along in a very natural domino positioning way. I wake up happy every morning. Happy to be here, and motivated to start the day and get things done. The new surroundings and sites of a new city keeps every day interested and unexpected which is something that thrive on!

The same is true and possible even while living in one place for a long time, but after doing the same thing over and over in a fast paced regimented manor, keeping up with the race, sometimes its easy to go through the motions or even be plotting and planning what you have to do when you get off the train, or when you get home after through traffic to get there-a dodge here and brake there to get home in just enough time to get changed and get back in the car to get to the second job, class, audition, doctors appointment, dentist appointment, the kids little league game, maybe if your even get to go to the gym, the list goes on and on. Even though its tough try to remember to take a deep breath-hold it-and let it out-remembering your lucky enough to be breathing and remembering what you have done and accomplished up to this point-or if your situation is different-stop and realize your lucky enough to be alive and have the opportunity to change your life if you really want to- and then put a smile on your face happiness in your heart and optimism in your eyes and turn and face the sun and start walking!

RAIN IN LA?

Yes thats right, its raining in LA! Currently midnight and its been raining for about 12 hours straight...grandted I just moved here, but I gotta think this is closing in on a record. It has been a while since I sat down to post, but that isn't due to a lack of work. The exact opposite. All I have been doing for the last week is setting up my new apartment, working as a personal trainer and lining up work as a model and getting things lined up to get back into acting class; and back on auditions. I have been painting for the last 2 days and I am happy to say with a little bit of luck, I should be all done by tomorrow and then if the rain ever stops I will be able to pick up the last of my furniture and really be settled in by the close of the weekend. With some time and distance from the whole move I have gotta say that i am proud of myself, not because I made the move...anyone that knows me will tell you it there is one thing I have its guts to use a less offensive word...but I am proud of how I did it. I have showed maturity in how I have dealt with the move and learned from past mistakes and lessons...I have been as impulsive as i have been in the past and it has all payed off to lead me to exactly where I wanted to be. I I look forward to a bright future here and I know its going to be so!

Now that I have internet and a table to work on I will be back on my posts and back to work so stay tuned for updates, thoughts funny stories and anything that I find amusing or interesting!

What's up everyone, I made it. I apologize for not posting anything in the last few days, but I got right to work when I got to LA finding a place to live and lining up work. I am happy to report that I have accomplished both. With my fingers crossed I should be hearing back any minute to go sign my first lease in Los Angeles. That's right its official-I LIVE IN LA!!! I found a great apartment and its exactly as I pictured it in my mind which is pretty amazing. I have lined up a few clients for personal training and starting Monday will be submitting for work as an actor and a model. Yep just like that...a few weeks to enjoy myself a few weeks to travel and now its time to "punch the clock" and get on the grind! Now its time for the real fun to begin. There are a few exciting things going on right now that I can not wait to tell you about so as soon as they are official I will be filling you all in! I want to first start off by thanking anyone reading this post. I have reached out to a lot of people over the last few weeks days and hours to help me by spreading the word about me and my site and what I have going on and to any and all of you that have done so I want you to know it is greatly appreciated. I would not be where I am today without the help and kindness of others and I know I will not get to where I am going without further help assistance and support so thank you in advance for that as well.

It has been a wild few days here in Arizona which was perfect and part of my plan to get the last few wild nights out of my system so I can arrive to LA relaxed and ready to work! I can say with confidence I have done so. I still really need to decompress from this weekend, trip and journey and once I do so I know I will have a lot to say and hopefully it will be worthwhile and make for a good read, so for know I will say I was blessed the day I was born and it has only continued since. Im in Scottsdale and let me tell ya, its gorgeous here. It was 80 degrees today. Its like having summer everyday less the humidity we get in NYC! When I make it big and get my finances up I am definitely buying a home here. I have been lifting and working out at a gym here thats the nicest gym I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of them all over. Today was a nice calm day so far and much needed after yesterday's marathon drive. I am going to be here till Sunday/Monday so stay tuned for more pics and definitely stories. I promise there have been stories made so far!

16 straight hours in the car...texas is the biggest state ever, yes it never ends, however the speed limit is 80 mph so thats cool but other than that, afer seeing one mountain it kinda gets old quick...its a good thing I have a great imagination and a really good thing I have a few days off from driving!!!

I am in Scottsdale alive and well and ready for a few days of R & R and good times with good friends, so until tomorrow sleep well world!

I am taking measure on the trip so far...some quick thoughts:
1-the country-it looks different but the same. Strip malls with different surroundings
2-people across the country the same they just sound different. No matter where you are in the country, your going to come across good people with kind hearts, and others that just aren't happy/don't treat others as well as they should. In the end, the old cliche "treat others like you want to be treated" is one to live by
3-power of the mind is supreme!

What's up all, I am writing to you at the end of a great weekend. Two days two awesome shoots. The pics looked really good on the camera LCD I can't wait to see them real size. I learned a lot and made some new friends in TX. Special thanks to Shelby and Nahtalie and Jayson for showing me the city. Texas is a cool town, but the time has come to hit the road again. Sooooooooo bright and early I will be back on the road and making my way to Scottsdale AZ to the exclamation point to my road trip before its time to buckle down and get to work, not to mention set up my life in LA. I am getting excited to hit the coast. This time next week I will be in my new home and its hard to really wrap my head around it, but I know its going to be a truly beneficial experience.

Ok so after sleeping for 12 hours last night (I didn't sleep the night before-I forgot to mention that I took a few naps along my drive here in the car) I had a productive day! Woke up nice and early and got to work with On Display Men on our first shoot of the weekend. The shoot went great and we got a lot of shots to round out my portfolio. The photographer was easy to work with and had some great ideas that made for an awesome shoot. So after some prep-work for tomorrow's big shoot and some finishing touches on a few other work related topics its happy hour time!

I am lucky to be going out for drinks with a few fans tonight that are going to show me the town. I have a important shoot tomorrow, the most important one yet so I have to try and be responsible (never been among my strengths when talking about cutting a good night short-so wish me luck!)

In true Johnny Sal fashion, I did not get on the road as early as I wanted to on Wednesday. I planned on getting on the road at 2 pm...I got on the road at 2 am...but it was all worth it. On the road now, and finally able to get some perspective on the last few weeks. I have to say I am proud of myself. I usually leave things to the last minute and always say all I want to do is lounge and slow things down. I did that in my last few weeks in NYC. Shout out to all my boys especially Buff-we did it right my man. All my people from The Town Tavern and a special thank you to all of you that made it out the night of my going away party-I had a great night. If you aren't mentioned but know we spent time together in the last few weeks, I am not forgetting you-thank you.

I have always set goals looking froward. Sometimes they are small, other times, large. Some of the goals were to be accomplished quickly, others in due time. I have found the more realizable the goal, the more likely you will be to accomplish it. I do this often, and one of my favorite happenings in the process, is when I come across a goal I scribbled on a napkin or in a notebook and then come across it and realize, I accomplished it and didn't even register it. It is a great feeling of accomplishment that brings with it a sense of ease to realize amidst the craziness of this fast paced life we live, even when you don't see the big picture, your life is working out the way you wanted to. It makes it that much easier to enjoy each day. One of my main goals in life is to accomplish and climb to great heights. To become a well rounded, happy, strong person and satisfy my unquenchable thirst for life as much as possible. As it pertains to a career path-mine is one that has a personal meaning to me rather than being a financial motivator...to become an actor that, when thought of, is considered to deliver strong and worthwhile work. As a model, to be a household name. Travel to remote locations all around the globe and get the chance to work with many different people and have the opportunity to learn about all the wonders that exist out there. I would one day like to be a remote host involved in the New Years Eve festivities in Times Square, attend the Olympics with full access to fully take in the whole experience. I will sky dive in the near future and be surfing by the summer time and backpack through Europe for a least a month within a year and half. I find myself sitting here in an empty apartment reflecting on all the memories I have made here. Games and Christmas parties with the boys, countless Sundays spent in my recliner moving a total of 10 feet the whole day, dates and sleep-overs, where I was standing when I got great news, and where I fell to when I got bad news. It has been an eventful chapter in my life, one that has seen so much happen that thinking back on it in a glimpse makes me feel like Neo from the Matrix downloading an exuberant amount of information in 5 seconds. You always have those few memories that fight their way to the foreground making sure they are remembered. I am an incredibly lucky person. I was blessed with a great family that has stuck together through it all and managed to maintain a love for one another that is truly poetic. I have a group of boys that are as tight as brothers-4,000 40,000 miles makes no difference. I have so many great friends you all know who you are. If I have spent time with you, shared a beer or a bed, you all know how much you have meant to me and I thank you all for whatever time we spent, good or bad because it has shaped the person I am today. Who is that person? I am man thats turning his whole world upside-down and seeing what sticks. What do I know? I know I am going to do great things, live a happy life and being happiness to others. I am going to achieve success-What won't I do? Change my definition of success or my ultimate take on life or how to live it. I hope all of you reading this follow your dreams and if you don't know ultimately what you want right now, don't stress it-all that means is your not supposed to know yet-it will come in its own time. I ultimtimately wish you happiness whatever that is for each of you. To all of you I am leaving behind family and friends, I love you all. Thank you for being a part of me and giving me the strength you do to allow me to always chase after and tackle my dreams.

The past few days have been crazy. Between packing up everything and figuring out where its going and how, to getting in good-byes not to mention working at night, and 3 shoots in 4 days, I have been doing the other 1 of of 100 things to finish up before I leave, an you know what...I got it all under control-well mostly. The full magnitude of this move in my life hasn't hit me yet, and I think that is going to make that final moment at the end of the journey that much sweeter. I already have it all planned out now all that's left is to make it happen. SO cheers to all of you, I hope you have a kick-ass weekend live it up right!!!

What's up everyone, sorry for getting this in so late, its been a crazy few days. Tying up lose ends packing and not to mention just getting back from my 3rd photo shoot in 4 days. I am happy to say that tonight's shoot was the best yet and the pictures looked awesome, I can't wait for you to see them. As the day draws closer I find myself driving up 6th avenue these past 2 nights and taking it all in. Its a drive I have done many times before, but pretty soon I will only be able to see it in movies or pictures. I am extremely excited to hit the road, see the country and inevitably hit the Pacific, but it hasn't really hit me yet. Not the full magnitude of what I am about to do. I know its a huge move, but I have been so busy doing what I have to do to make the move to stop and think about how crazy its going to be to wake up in a new city very soon. Hello everyone thank you for stopping by my site. The countdown has begun, exactly 1 week till I start my long journey out to Los Angeles. I am very excited about the trip (lets see how I feel after 40 hours of driving). I have been asked why am I making this move? Especially since I live in New York now, where everything is happening??? My answer is simple, because I want to. I have always wanted to live someplace else, not because I don't like New York, far from it. I could live someplace else for the rest of my life and would still always be a New Yorker, its an amazing city, and will miss it I am sure, however, I am trading in the concrete for palm trees and sand. I have been out to Cali many times, and always really liked the vibe out there. The best part is I get to continue to tackle my dreams of being on the big screen and in front of the camera both as an actor and a model-so why am I moving to Cali, because I CAN! If I don't do it now, I may never do it and thats unacceptable.

I have also been asked more times than I can count, why do you want to be an actor or model?? Its so hard! To this I have the same answer each time. Yes its hard, yes countless people are trying to to the very same thing, yes a lot of the business comes down to luck and timing, to that I say: SO WHAT? If you don't pursue things because they are difficult, you will most definitely lead a truly uneventful life, and when the end comes, you will be plagued with "what if's". I have lived. I have made mistakes, and the only "what if's" I have are what if I didn't do this or that? Some of which were good, others not so much, but everything I have done in my life has taught me something and let me to where I am today.

Where am I today? I am a strong confident person filled with life and a great person to be around. Most importantly, I am very happy and excited as I am about to embark on a truly major journey, one that I hope brings forth great things, but I am sure it will bring lessons, new people new sites and excitement and I am ready to take it on. So bring on the open road good tunes, fresh air and inevitably that blue pacific ocean.
